Eudora Findley

Eudora Findley, 87, of Atlanta, passed away on October 26, 2013 after a long illness. She was born January 28, 1926 in Lexington, Georgia and has lived in Atlanta since 1947. Since 1947, Dora has cared for many people both relatives and friends and neighbors, while also being employed for many years at Progressive Life and later Aetna Life Insurance agencies in Atlanta. Her many friends and loved ones will remember Dora for her attention to detail, thoroughness, and empathy for everyone she touched. She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Sower and Susan Derringer, brother Charles Findley, and many nieces and nephews. During the last years of her life, Dora was assisted and cared for by her great friend William “Bill” Horak of Atlanta, and her wonderful neighbors. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 11 o’clock at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery, 2031 Cobb Parkway, South, Marietta.
