Frank was born in Trenton, New Jersey. He was a proud graduate of Rider University and went on to dedicate many years of service to the State of New Jersey, retiring from the Division of Taxation. Frank also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for four years during the Vietnam conflict and was honorably discharged.
He was a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan and found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including his time as a former polka drummer. Above all, Frank was an amazing grandfather who cherished his family deeply.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Jean Piechota; and his grandparents, Frank and Stella Bialopiotrowicz, and Stanley and Adela Piechota.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Blicharz Piechota; his son, Robert S. Piechota; and his grandsons, Wyatt Francis Piechota and Bennett William Piechota.
A funeral service will be held on April 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at H.M. Patterson & Son – Oglethorpe Hill, 4550 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30319, followed by a reception from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and a committal service at 2:00 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, Georgia 30114.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
