

Gloria Flores Unda Patino, 96 died December 29th, surrounded by her family and friends. She leaves her precious family; son’s Manuel, Luis, Francisco, Pablo, and Miguel and daughter’s Maria and Ximena. She now joins deceased husband, Angel, son Diego and daughter Gabriella. Her extended family includes spouses of sons and daughters, 17 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Born in Quito, Ecuador, on December 24th, 1921, the daughter of Dr. Manuel Unda and Luz Maria Flores. She immigrated to the U.S. on September 20th, 1962 with her loving husband, Angel V. Patino and children to build a new and fulfilling life. Gloria was multi-talented and an avid artist. She had passion for nature, beauty, and children, expressing her visions through her creativity, teaching, and art. Gloria was a devout Christian, touching the lives of everyone with compassion, love and faith. May she rest in peace as her heavenly journey commences. She will be deeply missed by all that encountered her presence in their lives. Burial will be held at Crest Lawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, January 3rd at 9:30 am. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 am at Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church, reception following. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made in Gloria’s name to the Church.
