

Grace Goldsmith Cox of Atlanta passed away June 17, 2012 at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles Harman Cox, Sr. and Grace Boyd Goldsmith Cox; and niece, Rebecca Cox McKinley. Grace went to Washington Seminary and graduated in 1946. She worked at Piedmont Hospital as an Operating Room Scheduler for 15 years, before later working as the Wedding Coordinator at First Presbyterian Church for 20 years. Grace was a worldwide traveler whose interests included: walking, reading, needlepoint, international ministry, as well as many other activities at church. She was always gracious and loved to entertain with parties for friends and family. She is survived by brother: Charles Harman Cox and his wife, Ann; nephew: Charles “Bud” H. Cox, III; niece: Catherine Cox Zampini and her husband, Ron; nephew-in-law: Hall F. McKinley; and six great nieces and nephews: Allison, Hall, and Caroline McKinley, David (Jenny), Paul, and Elizabeth Zampini. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta with the family receiving guests one hour prior; Interment to follow at Westview Cemetery.
