

Dr. Jack R. Walker, 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12th. Dr. Walker was an accomplished Professor of Engineering having taught at Georgia Tech and the University of Alabama at Huntsville. Dr. Walker also was a consulting engineer for NASA's Red Stone Arsenal and King Kutter. Dr. Walker is a veteran of WWII having served on the destroyer USS Babbitt. He is survived by his son, John M. Walker, his daughter, Cathryn W. Miller, three beautiful granddaughters and extended family. Visitation and funeral services will be held in Atlanta at H. M. Patterson and Son - Oglethorpe Hill. Visitation is Thursday from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock with funeral services following on Friday at 10 o’clock. Interment will be Friday afternoon at the National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
