The Funeral and Memorial Service celebrating the life of Jim Eichelberger will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 636 W. Ponce de Leon Ave., Decatur, GA 30030.

A reception will follow at the home of Ann and Frank Critz.

TargetCancer Foundation is an organization dedicated to funding rare cancer research and patient support programs. This is an organization that was near and dear to Jim’s heart. It was started in 2009 by Jim’s late nephew after his nephew had been diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare form of cancer for which there were no effective treatment options. Jim’s nephew founded TargetCancer, just five months before he lost his own battle, to fund research into rare cancers, so that others would have a brighter outlook than he had. Jim could not have been prouder of his nephew or the legacy he left through TargetCancer.
