Janearle Trimble

Jan Trimble 83, was freed from her earthly body and passed away peacefully at the reminiscent care unit of Brighton Gardens of Dunwoody where she had lived the past 2 years. She was surrounded by family and friends, as well as her faithful dog Mr. T that she cherished.

Jan was preceded in death by her loving husband John Gilbert Trimble, her mother Mary Guillory, father LeRoy Sterling and brothers Billy and LeRoy Sterling Jr. and niece Gwen. She is survived by son John (Laura) Trimble, daughter Kyra (Greg) Wood, sisters Carol (Bill) Litton, and Linda (Earl) Darst. She was especially proud of her 6 wonderful grandchildren, Jana Trimble, Kyle (Katelyn) Wood, Andrew (Katie) Wood, Coleton Wood, Stephen McCarthy, Alex McCarthy and great grandchild Emma Jean Wood.

Jan Graduated from Port Neches High School in 1955 and attended University of Houston. She worked for Goodrich-Gulf until her marriage to John Trimble in March of 1964.

Jan was a stay at home mom in Dunwoody, GA until 1986 when she went to work for Raymond James Financial Service (formerly Investment Management & Research) where she retired in 2001. She loved tennis, golf, bridge and table tennis where she earned many medals in the senior olympic games. Jan was also an avid reader.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at Dunwoody Community Church on April 24, 2021 at 11:00am EST. Reception to follow at the church.

Her remains will be buried at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida with her husband..
