Jeannette Margaret Brown

Jeannette Brown passed away on Monday, August 1, 2011 of natural causes at the age of 90. Known to friends and family as Net or JB, she was a native Atlantan and attended Chamblee High School. Petite in stature, Net was known for her warm heart, loving ways and high spirited manner. Net was the definition of a fun and positive person with her sunny disposition and melodic voice. Ms. Brown enjoyed a long successful career in jewelry store management and her role as an integral part of the team at a private eye care practice. Among Jeannette’s personal interests were membership in the Chamblee Garden Club, The Eastern Star, The Pilot Club and The First Baptist Church of Lawrenceville. Jeannette is survived by her sister Jennie Mangham & brother- in -law Stan Mangham, of Leeds, Al, nieces Patsy Rehm of Berkeley Lake, Ga, Susan Sexton of Atlanta, Ga., Terri Clifton, & Christy George of Birmingham, Al. Nephews: Bob Sexton of Atlanta Ga., Steve Sexton, of Lawrenceville, Ga. and Stan Mangham of Birmingham, Al. Net will also be missed by many great nephews, nieces and great-great nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 6th at 11 o’clock at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. Interment Crestlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30319.
