

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Becky Davidson, and son, Justin Davidson (Emily) and granddaughter Kate Johnson of Nashville, TN, and mother Doris Raymer of Peachtree Corners. He is also survived by sisters Vivian (Doug) Meadors and Janis (Jim) McAvoy, sister-in-law Susan Massing and brother-in-law Danny (Dallas) Wilson.
He was preceded in death by stepfather Howard Raymer, brother-in-law Bob Wilson and sister-in-law Brandy Hall.
Jimmy was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 4, 1956 and graduated from Cross Keys High School. He was a University of Georgia football season ticket holder for over 30 years and spent over 40 years in the automotive parts and collision industry in the Atlanta area. He was known for his one-of-a-kind sense of humor and was a dedicated, selfless husband and father.
A memorial service will be held to honor Jimmy’s life at H.M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel on Friday, November 9. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. followed by a service for friends and family at 2 p.m.
