Judie was born in Miami, FL, on August 31, 1951, to Jim and Anne Bowers. She began her career with Southern Bell, working in both Miami and Atlanta. In 1985, she made Atlanta her home. After taking early retirement from Bellsouth, her industrious spirit led her to start a second career with Colony Square Dental Associates.
Judie’s interests included a love for cats, exploring new travel destinations, and reading.
Judie was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Anne Bowers and her brother, Jim Bowers Jr.
Judie is survived by her daughter, Corrin (Jeff) Wagnon; grandson, Asher Wagnon; aunt, Martha Stockhausen; sister-in-law, Irene Bowers; nephews, James A. Bowers III (Samantha Seldin), Justin Bowers, a great nephew, and she leaves behind a close relative, Joe Pons.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 10:30 am at H.M. Patterson & Son – Oglethorpe Hill, with a reception immediately following.
