I was dating her in the early 1980s she was so special when she had to move cause of her mother,it broke my heart.i didn't have a lot I could do about her mother.im glad to no what happened to her Linda sue heffner she was special and I will always love her forever. Linda sat close to me at work. I was always impressed with how positive and professional she was. Her desk was lined with photographs of family members. It was apparant to me how much she cared about her family, friends and co-workers. Please know Linda will be missed by all who knew her at EY as well. May her memory be a blessing to us all.

extremely shocked  to hear about the news.  I express my deepest condolences to the McLane/Heffner Families. Linda was a very helpful person and i had experienced that first hand during those many years where i worked  closely with her at ScientificAtlanta/Cisco. She would be thoroughly missed by family and friends.

It is with sincere sympathy that I express my condolences to the McLane/Heffner Families.  I had the all too brief pleasure and privilege of working alongside Linda these past four months at EY.  Linda made an amazing first impression by giving the finest effort to provide first-class service in her new position with our Firm.  Kind, considerate, gracious; always ready, willing and able to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, Linda's spirit and contagious warmth will be sorely missed by those who knew her.   Only a few short weeks ago, Linda was kind enough to offer me a ride to pick up my vehicle at a repair shop, though it was out of her way by a long-shot.  I'll never forget Linda's kindness as she said “Think nothing of this.  Helping each other…that's what friends are for.”  Though Linda is now in a better place, I regret I will be unable to return the favor to my new friend.   May God Bless and keep you, Linda.  I'll keep you in my prayers...after all, that's what friends are for.

Although Linda was at EY briefly, she left a huge impression with her vivacious personality.  Please know I keep your family in my prayers.

I am so very sad to hear of Linda's passing too soon. She and I were best friends that drifted apart by distance. I am praying for her family and friends.
