

Ms. Linda K Nash, age 83, of Atlanta, GA, passed away December 31, 2024. Linda was born on October 16, 1941, in Savannah, GA to Pearl Clifton Kaminsky and Jack Kaminsky. She graduated with H.V. Jenkins High School's first graduating class in 1959 and went on to receive her Associate of Arts in 1962, and her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1969 both from Armstrong State. Ms. Nash was a cherished member of the Atlanta community, working as chairman of the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, and co-chair of the Atlanta Historical Center. She also worked as Fashion Editor of Savannah Magazine and modeled for Belk, the Mart of Atlanta, Town & Country, and others. She was a lifelong golfer and tennis player, participating on teams and in tournaments as a member of Ansley Golf & Tennis Club. Like her mother, she enjoyed, patronized, and created art throughout her life. She was a member of the High Museum of Atlanta. Ms. Nash was also an avid world traveler along with close friends and her predeceased partner, Graham Martin.
Linda was preceded in death by her son, Marc Ashley Javetz; and daughter, Paren Nash Hardison. Linda is survived by her 4 granddaughters: Leah Pate Hardison, Caroline Townsend Hardison, Hallie Rachel Javetz and Jennifer Lane Javetz.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 2:00 pm at H.M. Patterson & Son - Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Rd NE, Brookhaven. GA 30319.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to an organization dear to Linda's heart - The Atlanta Botanical Gardens.
