Lynne attended Bryn Mawr Elementary, West Ridge Elementary, and Highland Park High School. During her high school years, she was a dedicated employee at the First National Bank of Highland Park. A profound influence in her early life was Reverend Justin Miller, a youth minister at Highland Park Presbyterian Church, who modeled the qualities of AGAPE, which focuses on unconditional, self-sacrificing love and significantly shaped Lynne’s belief system for the rest of her life.
One of her favorite childhood experiences was attending summer camp. That is where she fell in love with horses for the first time, a love she would carry throughout her life. She attended Coe College, where she was a cheerleader and earned her teaching degree. Lynne was a dedicated second and third-grade teacher, demonstrating immense commitment to her students and their families. She was exceptionally artistic, skilled in drawing caricatures, and an amazing cook throughout her life, having taken French cooking lessons. Lynne was also a passionate sports enthusiast and avid football fan. She was known as "Miss Pick a Pocket" at her children's elementary school for several years and brought joy to hospitals by visiting in her clown costume. She served as President of the Junior Charity League in Dallas, Texas. She also earned an LPN degree from nursing school and volunteered for Hospice. Her love of animals was evident in her adoration for her dogs: Tweeds, Max, and Sophie. Lynne was renowned for her innate wisdom, and many people, including family members, sought her advice. She had a remarkable ability to connect with everyone she met, constantly turning strangers into close friends.
In 1991 she married the love of her life, Michael Wolf, with whom she would spend the rest of her 34 years together and they enjoyed traveling, life, family, dogs and the arts together as best friends.
Lynne is predeceased by her beloved parents, Bert and Natalie Sager. She is survived by her husband Michael Wolf, her children, PJ Brady (Jacqueline) and Jennifer Astrop (Doug); her grandchildren, Peyton, Connor, Patrick Brady and Alex and Max Astrop; her sisters, Nancy Ruggles (Don), Emily Dudley (Steve) , and Claudia Sager; her brothers, Mark (Diane) and Paul Sager (Vesta) ; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
