Martha Virginia McCleskey Cerniglia

Virginia was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, entertainer, and excellent cook. She loved and was loved by so many. She will be dearly missed.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Joseph M. (Bubba) Cerniglia, son Michael Cerniglia, and daughter Elaine Cerniglia.

She is survived by her sons Joseph M. Cerniglia Jr. and his wife Libby, Ricky Cerniglia, and Kirk Cerniglia and his wife Cheryl; daughters Gail Trautz and her husband Ron, and Lisa Cerniglia; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Mirage Inn of Rancho Mirage, Ca. and the caregivers from Angels on Call and Shangrila Hospice that provided companionship, care, and love for Virginia.

Services will be on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 11 o’clock at Patterson’s Spring Hill followed by interment at Westview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to your charity of choice.
