Martha Landers Turner passed away October 2, 2012. She was born March 30, 1920, the daughter of the late George and Mary Landers. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Turner. Mrs. Turner was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Atlanta for many years. She was a member of the Piedmont Auxiliary having served as a volunteer at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. She is survived by a sister, Dorothy L. Miller of Douglasville, brother in law, A. H. (Pete) Hardy of Powder Springs, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 4th at Eleven O’clock in the morning at Patterson’s Spring Hill. Family will receive friends one hour prior. Graveside services will follow at One Thirty in the afternoon at Powder Springs Memorial Park Cemetery.
