Mary Doris Jenkins, age 83, passed away on July 2, 2015. Born on April 12, 1932, she was raised in Chamblee and will fondly be remembered as a devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years James Jenkins. She is survived by her daughters, Melinda Jenkins Cordero of Tucker and Annette Jenkins of Doraville; grandson, Nathanael Cordero of Tucker; brother, Ray Turpin; sister, Janet Troutman of Stockbridge. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 6 at 1:00 PM at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM at H.M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill on Sunday.
