Born in Georgia and a proud graduate of Headland High School, Nancy carried the warmth of her home state with her all her life. She was a creative spirit who found joy in gardening, cooking, baking and collaging — hobbies she shared freely with everyone.
Nancy’s greatest giving was to her family. She was the steady presence who celebrated all family milestones; the one who filled holiday tables with home-cooked favorites and quiet afternoons with stories and encouragement. She was the one who made our house a home and made a point of being there when anyone needed a listening ear or a helping hand. Her generosity of time, patience, and love shaped the lives of her children and grandchildren and created a home where everyone felt welcomed and supported.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald Erickson; her children, Carolyn White, Cecil Roberson and, Quinn Moore; her sister, Talitha Fountain; grandchildren Crystal, Cassidy, Michelle, Chance, and Gabe; and great-grandchildren Ayden, Bently, Mariah, and Ada; and Niece Shere Housman and Nephew John Paul Bradly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Warren Womack and Mary Louise Womack; her brother, Royce Womack; and her sister, Linda Womack.
Nancy will be remembered for her loving spirit, her creativity, and the countless quiet ways she gave to those she loved. Her legacy lives on in the family she adored and in the many small traditions and mementos she lovingly left behind.
