Neal and Lynn - you are in my thoughts - your Mom, my cousin,  was close to me growing up and I remember her so well. Your Dad was a great friend also and I wish you and your family my best.

What a shock! I first met Neal when I did a little legal work for his company many years ago. He was a wonderful man. Madaline and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.    Stell Huie

I am very sorry about Neal's passing and want to extend my deepest condolences to the entire family.

I first met Neal in 1988 when he and his business partners proposed what was then a revolutionary new neighborhood in Smyrna.  They took a huge risk for the time in building Vinings Glen.  A lot of other developers thought they were crazy.  It proved to be the greatest thing to happen to the Smyrna community in many years!

Their courage in moving forward led to the residential renaissance of the Smyrna community in the 90s which continues to this day.  Smyrna would not be what it is now without Neal's vision and courage.

Neal was a pleasure to work with and always a gentleman.  He never received the credit he deserved for what he did for Smyrna.  Thank you Neal, I know what you did and I appreciate it.  Best wishes to the family in dealing with his loss.

From the 1st time I met Neal(as a young teen) I knew he was special and I gravitated to him, always listening, talking and hugging him.  I thought the world of him and so did my family. Lynn, Neal Jr. and Emily, my heart felt sympathy goes out to all of you and the entire family.  Neal was a good friend of  my late husband Richard and me.  I have so many memories of fun  times with Neal and CiCi and you kids over the years at Duck Key and Marietta.  Neal was fun to dive with and  there were several times that stands out to me.  One time Neal stuck his hand into a hole thinking a lobster was there and he almost lost his hand to a green moray eel.  Then probably the funniest was when he flipped off the back of the boat in one of the canals while we were looking for lobster and he landed on top of an old barracuda that hung out there.  We could not tell who was moving fastest, Neal or the barracuda.  

I know he will be sorely missed by family and so many friends.  God Bless all of you and I ask that He give you peace and heal your heart from this terrible loss.
