

Nell Foster Morris passed away peacefully in the Lord January 20, 2014, at Piedmont Hospital in the presence of her family .She was born in College Park August 26, 1924 to Dr. and Mrs. Kimsey Foster and was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Morris and her sister Frances Lloyd. Mrs. Morris was devoted to her Christian faith, her family and helping children. She graduated from the University of Georgia where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. After her children were grown she began another career as a Fulton County Public School teacher for 15 years, She loved children and taught Sunday School all her adult life at First Methodist Church of College Park where she was a life-long member.
She is survived by her children Carol Covington (Bob) of Atlanta, Dr. Clifton Morris (Wendi) of Dublin, Ga. and grandchildren: Courtney Schaeffer (Fred) of Memphis, TN.; Robert Covington, Jr. (Josephine) of Little Rock, AR., Nathan Morris (Sue) of Seoul, Korea; Andrew Morris (Julie) of Atlanta and Peter Morris of Atlanta. She had 6 great grandchildren: Courtney Schaeffer, Fred Schaeffer, Nell Covington, Mary Covington, Robert Covington III (deceased) and Cliff Morris. There will be a private family burial at College Park Cemetery and a memorial service at Patterson’s Spring Hill on Monday, February 10 at 11:00 A.M.
