Robert was born Oceanside, CA to Jean McLellan Hollis and John Sivils Hollis on December 4, 1959. Robert lived in numerous towns, growing up a child of a Colonel in the Marines, he graduated from Peachtree High School in Dunwoody. Robert received a Bachelor of Science Degree from University of West Georgia. He married Rozalie Golomb-Hollis on July 15, 1989 in Berwick, PA. Robert was a leader and a pioneer in the printing industry. He began his career at Polychrome where he quickly became the company’s top representative. He was responsible for managing 25 of the largest printers in America. He was bestowed with many awards and accolades. Robert began his next chapter in his business journey joining his beloved wife and partner Rozalie at Golomb and Golomb. With Roz’s amazing designs coupled with Roberts knowledge and sales expertise GnG has grown into one of Atlanta’s Top Ad agencies. Robert was a man of character, he treated his employees, clients and vendors with utmost respect. He understood people and made each and every job his personal quest for perfection.
Robert was preceeded in death by his parents and his brother John Mac Hollis.
He was involved in numerous charities. He loved giving back to the community and helping everyone he could. Robert was an avid fisherman, golfer, sportsman, grass cutter and big hearted man.
Robert is survived by his wife Rozalie, His brother Michael and wife Kim, his sisters Helen and Susan, and numerous awesome nieces and nephews
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm – 8:00pm on Friday the 20th of September at H.M. Patterson & Son - Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. The Rosary will be at 7:30 pm.
A funeral mass will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday the 21st of September at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Graveside services will follow at Westview Cemetery. Arrangements are by H.M. Patterson & Son - Oglethorpe Hill Chapel.
