Robert Davis Munford

Robert Davis Munford, age 62, son of Shepherd Munford Timberlake and Dillard Munford (both deceased) died at his home after a long struggle with a debilitating disease. After completing his studies, Bob entered into a rewarding modeling career due to his strong appeal combined with his gentlemanly good looks. He modeled throughout the Atlanta area, in New Jersey and in Florida. Bob was an avid tennis player and played in many Atlanta venues. He spent a summer in the Philippines visiting his sister and playing tennis in the mountain regions.

Bob was known to help anyone in need and he cared deeply for family and friends. He was very proud of his daughter, nephews, and nieces. He was warm and genuinely interested in the lives of others. Bob is survived by his daughter, Alexa Munford, his brother, Henry Munford, his sisters Page Mallory and Aubrey Munford, their spouses, children, their grandchildren, and many cousins. He was also deeply devoted to his surviving stepfather, Dr. Lloyd F. Timberlake.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 3 o’clock at H. M. Patterson & Son, Spring Hill. In lieu of flowers, contributions to The Atlanta Mission will be greatly appreciated. Online condolences may be made at hmpattersonspringhill.com.
