Roger Walter Wszolek, age 76, a long-term resident of Yonkers, New York, passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, August 24, 2025 at his home in Brookhaven, Georgia after a long courageous battle with cancer, kidney and heart disease. Roger was born in Yonkers, New York on August 26, 1948 and was the second son of Walter Michael Wszolek and Florence (nee Jankowski) Wszolek.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lorraine (nee Anton) Wszolek; his four sons, Roger Walter Jr, Michael Joseph, Brian Matthew, and Mark James; his daughters-in-law, Bonnie Jo, Raquel, Janice, Carline, and Erica; his grandchildren, Alyxandria, Hali Rose, Roger Walter III, Massiel, Michael Jr, Tyler, Wyatt, Sydney, and Savannah and his great grandchildren; Bonnie Mae and Gabriel.
Roger has left behind his oldest brother, Donald and sister-in-law, Amy, and sister-in-law, Bridget. In addition to his parents, Roger is predeceased by his brother, Wesley Michael.
Roger’s inestimable dedication to his family is best analogized by his 35+ year service as a Tax Manager for American International Group / CV Starr Companies where he retired in 2010.
