Samuel Howard Hill, age 59 of Snellville, Georgia died July 20, 2015. Sam was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on December 7, 1955 and raised in Decatur, Georgia. He was the cherished and beloved husband of Carla Hill to whom he was married for 33 years and the loving and proud father of his three daughters, Rachel Hare, Samantha Hill and Taylor Hill, as well as his sons-in-law, Thomas Hare and Jason Howard. Sam is also survived by his loving mother and father, Sam and Florence Hill and his siblings, Nancy Simpson, Robert (wife Sharon) Hill and Charles (wife Ann) Hill. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, July 31 from 5:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at H.M. Patterson and Son - Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Rd., NE, Brookhaven, GA, 30319. A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00p.m. on Saturday, August 1 at H.M. Patterson and Son - Oglethorpe Hill Chapel with Rev. Charles Hill and Capt. Ken Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
