

Sarah Campbell Brogdon, age 77, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2025. Sarah was born on June 12, 1947 in Covington, Georgia to Hester Campbell Brogdon and Joseph Milton Brogdon.
Sarah was a loyal, thoughtful soul, who prioritized human connection and kindness above all else. She loved spending time with her friends, children and grandchildren. She had many hobbies, including bridge, travel, visiting new restaurants and self-care.
Sarah was a social worker in her 20s; she became an attorney in her early 30s, working for the Department of Agriculture. In her early 50s, she transitioned fully to a career in psychotherapy, joining the Peachtree Psychological Associates, specializing in Divorce Mediation and Child Custody Agreements. She spent a lifetime assisting others, helping them to make choices that would better themselves and their families.
She was loved by all who knew her. Sarah leaves behind her daughter, Zanthe Ferris, her sons Jonathan Vinson and Zachary Ferris, and her grandchildren, Eli Vinson (23), Mac Vinson (21), Fiona Russo (9) and Waylen Russo (7). She is also survived by her brother Joseph Milton Brogdon, Jr., as well as a host of beloved friends.
In her final moments, she was surrounded by ocean, friendship, and sunshine. She is deeply missed by those who knew her and loved her.
A service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd at 3pm at HM Patterson Oglethorpe Hill, 4550 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta GA 30319.
