Having grown up with Ted in Auburn, I'm saddened to learn of his death. My condolences to all of you.

I just read of your loss in the Auburn magazine.  Ted and I went to college together.  He was a wonderful person.My prayers cover each of his children.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I only knew him briefly - he seemed to be a generous fellow with big dreams despite his illness. I'm sorry that I did not get to know him better.

The Jockisches were a vibrant part of our Auburn community.  Such a simple thing has been passed down in our family.  Ted's beautiful mother asked about something and his reply was "I already to you" and his mother said "Tell me again, Ted."  That became a household phrase I heard my own mother repeat many times. Deepest regrets on learning of Ted's death. We had been only briefly in touch in recent years, but growing up in Auburn we were all close. Heartfelt condolences to his family and to our many mutual friends.

My memories are long and full. From working math problems with him during ROTC to manyAHS classes together, to church together, to his father buying our 1949 Desoto as a fishing vehicle. To wondering what he would do next, he was my friend. May our Lord Jesus Christ direct our lives as we think back 64 years and our memories of a very smart friend

Ted and I were dear friends and we shared so much.  I will never forget when he came out to our Farm and it was pouring rain - sheets of rain.  He said he didn't care, he wanted to walk down to the barn to see my horse named Blue John --- and we did!  We laughed and laughed.  It was always special when he came over.  I was hoping his trip overseas would help his medical condition.  I wish I had known he was back and at Emory Hospice, but I do know he was very very ill. I grew up with Ted in Auburn!  We were dear friends; he even taught me to drive in his Mother's Cadillac!  
I'm sorry to say that we had not stayed in touch over the years but our fun memories of growing up together have stayed with me and often made me smile.
