Vincent Blundo

Born 15 Feb, 1948 in Hackensack, NJ, Vincent leaves behind Kathleen Stephenson, his bride of 25 years. He's also survived by brother Jerry Blundo of South Hackensack, NJ and son Charles Scott Blundo of Richmond, VA.

Dubbed "Varsity Vin" by HS teammates--namely--Atlanta's adopted son Mike Fratello; Vin earned 9 varsity letters on the grid iron, hoop court, and diamond for the Comets of Hackensack HS. He graduated Rutgers University with a BA in Art History in 1970.

Vin and Kathy met on the isle of St Croix and were married 8 Aug 1988. They spent 11 years together in the Caribbean. Hurricane Hugo uprooted the happy couple sending them to Atlanta in 1990. Here Vin spent 20 years expertly purveying Italian food items to restaurateurs.

Vincent courageously battled small cell lung cancer prior to his passing--4 September 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Varsity "H" scholarship fund at Hackensack HS are appreciated.
