Well, I think I'm the newest Adult member to this family, so here are some Memories of William (Bill) Bunker from Rex.

We always smile when we go by an episode of "Law & Order" on TV, because Bill would have watched it 24 hours of day if he could.

*How he loved to read and we would share book stories and authors, we shared love of James Patterson books.
**How he loved to go for rides especially in the Red Mustang convertible and trips up North or to Hidden Lake Gardens.
***His love and excitement of seeing all of the grandkids and great-grandchildren.
****His collection of canes and how he used them to get around, get in the cars, torture the kids and "wap" Paula in the head with them.
*****How I learned early on to avoid talking about Politics because the discussions could become pretty volatile.   He always claimed I "was a darn Republican" and I would remind him I'm an Independent but he rarely agreed.   LOL
******His enjoyment of food and restaurants and love of my homemade mashed potatoes.
*******How we would share memories of our parents, grandparents, farms and "Olden Times"!
********From the beginning we would make merciless fun of each other and he loved it.  I would give it back to him just as good as he gave to me.   LOL again

Finally, how much fun he had at our LCOL Church last February at the Valentine's Dance/Dinner - loved the food, the entertainment and dancing with Pug (without his cane).   It was a beautiful sight that I will never forget.   My time with him was way too short but FULL of many memories and I will truly miss him.  It was my honor to have known him.   May the grace and peace of God be on all of us, family, friends, co-workers and neighbors who will badly miss William Bunker.

Rex C. Engle (husband of Paula)

We sure had fun together camping. Always enjoyed that mischievous look in your eye and new some funny remark was coming! We'll miss that. Always had fun with good ol Bunky Baby! Happy for you that you've reached your reward in Heaven. Goodbye dear friend.

Goodbye buddy, we had some great times. 
We will watch out for Pug. We'll miss you but we will be together again.

From the first second I met him, he felt comfortable enough to give me a hard time but in that wonderful good humored way. Such life sprung from this man. He'd walk up to anyone and just start chatting away. No one was a stranger. I was blessed to have met you, and all of your family. What a wonderful legacy you leave. This earth has a hole in it, marked by your absence, but the memories of you fill our hearts. Bill and Ana, you are in my thoughts daily and so is your mom, Bill. I love you guys. I am here whenever you need me.

Sleep well, Dad. You will always live on in our hearts. You were a great father and friend. Life is a little less fun and a lot more empty without you.

   You have my sincerest condolences on the passing  of Bill.
  He always made people feel welcome in his family home.

Dad--you are loved so very much, and will be missed even more.  We'll take good care of Pug for you.

I will miss you Bill.   Too young to be called Uncle, even though you were.  Your humor and the "twinkle" in your eye is what is best remembered about you.
