William Howard "Billy" Ledford Jr.

Born in Murphy North Carolina, Mr. Ledford was a graduate of Western Carolina University. He currently was Supervisor, Oncology Business Operations at Northside Hospital Cancer Institute. He enjoyed traveling and vacations and Puerto Vallarta was one of his favorite places. He was very active in the LGBTQIA+ community and its diverse entertainment industry. He loved all his friends unconditionally and would do anything to make them feel loved and supported.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Joy Faye Whitener. He is survived by his husband Kevin Joe McClelland of Atlanta, sister and brother-in-law Sunshine and Jerry Patterson of Murphy, NC, and his niece Kayla and nephew Dusty, both of whom he loved beyond measure.

Celebration of Life will be held 1 o’clock pm Saturday, August 14, 2021 at HM Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill Chapel in Brookhaven. Family will receive friends from 11:30 am till 1 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to https://joininghearts.org. Mr. Ledford requested no carnations be present at his celebration of life. Therefore, any arrangements containing said flowers will be summarily rejected from the premises.
