Dave was born in Newport News Va. to Elma and Mefrow Loving Jr. on August 7,1941. He went to school in Newport News Va. and graduated from Newport News High School. Dave worked at the shipyard in Newport News Va. for many years before he moved to Ga. in 1968. He worked for the State of Georgia and retired from the Department of Revenue in 2011.
Dave is survived by his sisters Nadine Garner, Deborah Melcher and Becki Wilson, 2 nieces, 3 nephews, 4 great nephews, 1 great niece and 3 cousins.
Dave was the kindest person you could have ever met and truly had a heart of gold. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved his cat Blue and enjoyed helping everyone. Always giving, sharing, and taking care of others. He will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service for Family & Close Friends will be held on October 17, 2020 at 3:00pm with a visitation beginning at 2:00pm.
