Agnes was a long time member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and was proud to have the longest continuous membership, where she served in many capacities for the church over the years. She graduated in 1949 from Gadsden High School then went on to graduate from Gadsden Business College. She worked for Trophy Daires, Southern Hertiage, and later went to work for Highland Water Authority where she retired from.
He was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, George “Jack” Limbaugh; mother, Eva Carey Sims; mother in law, Helen Limbaugh Bogaard; father in laws, John Clarence Limbaugh, Luke Bogaard; brother, Charles E. Carey Sr.; brother in laws, John W. Holley, J.C. Limbaugh, WM Joe Limbaugh, David Whitmore and sister in law, Faye Carey Stirling; nieces, Theresa Carey Pritchett, Kay Huse; and special lifelong friends Bill and Canera Lumpkin.
She is survived by her daughter, Treva (Jeff) Weaver; son, George “Bubba” Limbaugh; grandson, Hunter T. Limbaugh; granddaughter, Kinley Ray Weaver; sister, Katie Holley; sister in laws, Martha (Bob) Harper, Lucille (Richard) Beckett; nieces, Nancy (Bob) Tomlinson, Linda (Jerry) Hazel, Jan (David) Vaughn, Cheri (Bob) Heisserer, and Debbie Harper; nephews, John R. (Barbara) Holley, Charles E. (Robin) Carey, James E. Carey, Randy Limbaugh, and Kevin (Pattie) Limbaugh, Davey, Tim, Andy and Matthew Whitmore, Pat Beckett, Mike Beckett; and special friends Cindy and Michael Sitz and family.
Pallbearers were George "Bubba" Limbaugh, Hunter Limbaugh, Charles E. Carey, Randy Limbaugh, Michael Sitz and Greg Lumpkin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Cindy Sitz, Kelly Garrison Bishop, Sue and Arnell Weaver, Katie Darden.
