Andy was born on May 1, 1970 to Jim and Mary Huff. A graduate of Ashville High School, Andy furthered his education at Snead State Community College and Auburn University. He spent a career in sales where his sense of humor and love of people brought him success. Andy loved spending time working at Camp Sumatanga, a place very special to him and his family.
He was a beloved husband to Angela Kilgo Huff, a devoted father to Chandler Huff, and a loving son of James (Jim) Huff and the late Mary Huff. Andy was an active member of Gallant first Baptist Church and cherished serving his Lord and Savior by working on several committees including security detail.
A fan of classic cars, he spent time attending car shows, and First Fridays. Andy also was a family man - he loved spending time with them whether they were at the beach , going to Disney, or cheering on their favorite college football team at home. He had an infectious sense of humor, and was a friend to all.
Andy is survived by his wife, son, and father, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Alvin and Verona Lackey, Amos and Wilma Huff, and his mother, Mary Huff.
The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Riverview Hospital; Ali (CCU nurse), Bethany(3rd floor nurse), and Dr. Eta for their compassion and wonderful care.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla, AL. Funeral services will take place at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Gallant, officiated by Brother Jeff Rowan with visitation beginning at 2:00 PM. Graveside services and burial will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Ed Bell, Edward Bell, Andrew Stapp, Brett Battles, Ron Kilgo, and Timothy Tawbush will serve as pallbearers.Honorary pallbearers are Danny and Mike Talton.
Andy’s services are lovingly managed by Morgan Funeral Home.
