Mrs. Annie Lee Cannon

Funeral services for Annie will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Monday, June 16, 2025. The family will receive visitors in the Chapel from 1:00pm until the time of the service at 3:00pm. Interment will follow the service at Bethlehem United Baptist Church Cemetery in Gallant, AL. Bro. Gerald Deweese will officiate.

Annie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved the Lord and enjoyed doing embroidery, quilting and reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Cannon; daughter, Pamela Denney; parents, Johnnie and Bessie McClendon; sister, Patsy Battles; brothers, Julius, Frank, Eugene, Louie, Jimmy and Donald McClendon.

Annie is survived by her children, Paul “Chip” (Lucinda) Cannon, Roger (Hazel) Cannon, and Linda (Max Jr.) Hilburn; grandchildren, Amanda (Sonny) Fernandes, David Cannon, Butch (Stephanie) Denney, Jason (Sara) Denney, Candise (Alex) Feldner, Cade (Charles) McIlwain, Jessie Evans, Jeremy (Morgan) Hilburn, Tommy Cowan, and Anthony Cowan; great grandchildren, Caitlin Fernandes, Jayden and Emerson Denney, Finn and Wilhelm Feldner, Hadley, Harper and Tulley McIlwain, Justin Evans, Carter Hilburn, Hunter Cowan and Will Cowan.

Pallbearers are Butch Denney, Jason Denney, Jeremy Hilburn, Alex Feldner, Charles McIlwain and Jeff Cannon.

Honorary pallbearers are Jayden Denney, Finn and Wilhelm Feldner, Justin Evans and Carter Hilburn.

Morgan Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
