Barbara Jean (Hyde) McClung

Funeral services will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla, Alabama. The family will receive visitors in the chapel on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 11:00am with visitation prior to the service at 9:00am. Interment will follow the service at Seven Springs Cemetery in Jacksonville, AL. Bro. Robert McClung to officiate.

Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother. She worked at Coosa Valley Healthcare for 32 years. She enjoyed collecting coca cola treasures, watching the hummingbirds, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jefferson Billy McClung; father, Emory Hyde; mother, Martha Hyde; sisters, Mary Helton, Oma Janell Heinzel, and Terethia Faulkner, along with her nieces and nephews.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Wendy (Tony) Tousey; brother, Doyle (Penny) Hyde; grandchildren, Dustin Tousey, and Jonathan Tousey; great grandchildren, Marlee Tousey, Jase Tousey, and Jonathan Tousey Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers will be Dustin Tousey, Jonathan Tousey, Keagan Fuller, Steve Brannon, Rob Turgeon and Jason Vice.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Enhabit Home Health – Kayla, Derek and coworkers, Gadsden Regional Medical Center, and McGuffey Rehabilitation.
