Funeral service will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla on Thursday February 2, 2017 at 3:00 P.M.

The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday from 12:30 to 3 P.M. prior to the service in the chapel.

Rev. Jacky Duncan and Rev. Ronnie Roberts will officiate.

Graveside service and interment at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Berley Wayne was a member of Anchor Baptist Church in Attalla. A dedicated employee, Mr. Hill began working for the City of Attalla on June 26, 1960 and transferred from the City of Attalla Fire Department as Assistant Fire Chief to the Public Works Department as a supervisor and there he remained until his retirement on January 2, 2002. Berley also served on the Attalla Water Works Board from 1986 to 1994. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Those preceding him in death include his daughter, Pamela Hill Mahmoud; Parents, Aaron & Undean Hill; sisters, Helen Smith, Marie Roberts, Doris Brady, Diane Walker; and brothers, A.W. Hill and Robert Hill.

He leaves behind;

Pallbearers will be his grandsons Zak, Aaron, Josh and Nate, along with son in law Mike Reeves and nephew, Chucky Hill.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Means and Kenneth Dixon.
