

Bobbie Jean Evans was born March 12, 1934 in Mississippi to Robert “Bob” Haynie and Gladys “Thacker” Haynie went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 1, 2023. Bobbie was a lifelong resident of Attalla. She was employed for over thirty years by the Etowah County Circuit Clerk’s office. She was a woman of strong faith, wonderful loving wife, mother, relative and friend who believed in the good of everyone including her children, grandchildren, relatives, friends and many of her children’s friends. She was a lifelong member of Cherry Street Baptist Church who also sang in the choir for many years. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband Norris Evans, her parents Bob and Gladys Haynie and Brother Rondell Haynie. She is survived by her children Danny Evans, Kevin (Becky) Evans and Kelly Mayo; Grandchildren Kaci Mayo, Ryan Evans (Lacey), Scott Evans (Malone), Grant Evans, Kathryn Brenner (Keith) and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Thacker, Dale Pruitt, Paul Smith, Robert Smith, Ryan Evans, Scott Evans, Grant Evans and Steve Mayo.
Funeral Service will be at 3:30pm Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Bro. Larry Garrard and Bro. Philip Elliott officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:30 until 3:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials/donations may be made to Cherry Street Baptist Church or the American Heart Association in Bobbie’s honor.
