Burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Works was of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Army after graduating from Etowah High School in 1982.His best job in life was laying carpet and flooring. He loved the outdoors; he enjoyed NASCAR, dirt track racing, camping and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Helms Works; grandparents, Rev. J.B. and Minniette Helms, and OB and Louise Works.

He is survived by his father, Verlon Works; sister, Rhonda Works; brother, Shane Works; younger sister, Cheryl Works; daughter, Elizabeth and granddaughters, Lyric, Emberlyn, and Maive, Arizona; special nephew, Justin Anderson and special niece, Hailey Hannah; special pets, Smokey Man, Jake, Melia, Bear and Odie; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be father, Verlon Works and nephew, Justin Anderson.

Visitation will be at Morgan Funeral Chapel Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 5 until 7p.m.
