Carolyn Maxine Bellew

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents John C. and Annie Bell Patterson and two of her siblings Virginia and Tommy.

She is survived by her life partner James. Children Clint and Teresa (Shane). Grandchildren Emily, Jessica (Damon), Alex, Dustin (Lexi), Justin, Colton, Benton, Paislee, Jason, Brennan, and Bryleigh. Siblings Myra, Marshall (Diane), Janey, Susan (Charlie), and Charlsey (Larry). Chosen family Brandy (Daniel), Dana (Brian), Austin (Allie), and Fin. Special friends Linda and Val. And a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends too numerous to count who all love her.

Carolyn was a devout Christian woman whose kindness touched the hearts of countless people in her community and beyond. Carolyn is the glue of her family, a waypoint and cornerstone of strength and love. She enriched the life of all those who encountered her. Mom, Nana, Sister, and Friend are words that, individually, cannot fully encapsulate the depth of her life among those who knew her. She will be sorely missed and forever cherished.

Visitation for Carolyn will be held Thursday, January 15th, 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Morgan Funeral Chapel, 625 Gilbert Ferry Rd. SE, Attalla Al, 35904. Service will be officiated by Brother Eddie Stevenson.
