Visitation will be held from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026. Chapel Services will follow at 11:30 a.m.
Burial will take place at Cave Springs Cemetery
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Jean Abney; parents, Eugene and Mildred Abney; brother, Terry Abney; sisters, Billie Jean Patterson and Martha Fay Armstrong; nephew, Steve Peterson; partner, Joyce Campbell.
Charles is survived by his son, Michael Abney; daughter-in-law, Jana; grandchildren, Michael Andrew Abney, Ethan Kendric Abney, Sara Katherine Abney, Sadie Claire Abney; and great-grandson, Lex Oliver Abney.
Pallbearers will be Ethan Abney, Jeff Abney, Mike Hooks, Jared Gill, Anthony Rohershaw, and Tony Rohershaw.
Honorary pallbearers are Gregory Baldwin and Shawn Hawk.
