Cynthia Hollingsworth Graves was an amazing woman of God! She was born on December 15, 1953. She left her earthly home on September 18, 2021 to join friends and family in her heavenly home! Cynthia was a lifetime resident of Steele, AL. She was a 1972 graduate of Ashville High School. She was a loving mother, a remarkable friend, a great leader for her family, an inspiring teacher, and her favorite role was being the best NeNe to her grandchildren. Cynthia was a proud Auburn University graduate and loved to yell, “War Eagle!” for the tigers! She had 30 plus years of teaching at Adams Elementary where she invested in the lives of many children! She grew up in the Steele United Methodist Church where she attended for many years. She was a youth leader, women’s director, Sunday school teacher, and faithful believer in Christ! She currently attended Genesis Worship Center where she loved helping in the nursery. She had a sense of humor and told the best stories! If you knew Cynthia then you couldn’t help but love her! She always shared her faith with others and her favorite Bible verse was Isaiah 40:31! As she would say, “The Anchor Holds in Spite of the Storm!” May each one of us live a life that would be as pleasing to God as hers!
