Mr. McCreless passed away May 16, 2024, unexpectedly but peacefully at home.
Survivors include his wife, Deedra McCreless; daughter, Kaci Mathis (Lance); son, Jeff Mathis (Amanda); grandchildren, Alyssa Davis, Braxton Davis, E.J. Mathis, Brylie Myer, and Ryker Reaves; brother, Steven McCreless (Vivian); sister-in-law, Jeri McCreless; a host of nieces and nephews; and his loving fur friend, Kodo.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Edgar and Edna McCreless, and brother, Michael McCreless.
Mr. McCreless attended Southside High School where he was a member of The Pride of Southside. He served briefly in the US Navy and later worked in the private security industry. He was a nationally ranked darts player. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren whom he spoiled and were his true pride and joy. He will be dearly missed.
