

Funeral services for Mrs. Tucker will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla, AL. The family will receive visitors in the Chapel from 10:30 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Reeves Grove Cemetery in Steele, AL. Bro. Robert Metzler and Bro. John Hutchins to officiate.
Edith worked at the St. Clair County Courthouse in the Probate Office and the Tax Assessors Office. She was a Notary Public and she married many couple over the years. Edith was a devout Christian, who was saved at the age of 18; and she was a member of the Beason Union Historical Society. Edith was a wonderful piano player and played for many churches and groups through the years. She was a fan of Alabama football, a BIG Braves fan and one of her characteristics was that she never forgot anyones birthday. Edith will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceded in death by her parents, Wallace (Watt) and Cordelia Bowlin; husband, Hobert Tucker; and sister, Elton (Tootsie) Payne.
Edith is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Forrest and Brenda Tucker; grandchildren, Meshea and Jeff Hill, and Rachel and Roman Causse; great grandchild, Bentley Hill; and chosen children, Betty and Roger Epps.
Pallbearers are Kelly Casey, Jeff Hill, Marshall Tucker, David Jackson, Roger Epps, and Avery Fuller.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Complete Health Nurses and Therapist and Tina Simmons, her caregiver.
