

On the morning of January 12th, Floreta Little, age 91, left her earthly home. She leaves behind, daughters Cleda Nunn and Tanya (Paul) Clark, Grandchildren: Ty (Pam) Jackson, Justin (Whitney) Little, Leslie Bass, Jeremy (Christina) Little, Meagan (Jordan Morris). Great-grandchildren Brett Jackson, Brady Jackson, Bradley Jackson, Kaiden Hall, Evian Little, Emmaline Morris, Thomas Little, Callan Little, Winsley Morris, and Boone Morris.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle And Frank Hammond, brother Carlos Hammond, Sons, Nicky Sandlin and Bobby Little Jr., and son-in-law Jeffrey Nunn.
Mrs. Little was an avid collector of antiques and could tell you the story behind each piece in her immense collection. She loved to work in her yard and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a 1948 graduate of Gadsden High School, a Pink Lady Volunteer for Gadsden Regional Medical Center, and member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Little was also a member of Rainbow Church of Christ.
A private service for the family will be held at 10a.m. on January 16th at Morgan Funeral Home. Brother Paul Clark will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ty Jackson, Brett Jackson, Brady Jackson, Bradley Jackson, Jordan Morris, and Paul Clark.
The family would like to give special thanks to all her precious caregivers: Christi Farley, Nikita Debene, Christian Higgins, Jessica King, and Debbie Chaney. We also would like to express our appreciation to our special friends at Encompass Health Hospice: Fred Whitt, Lori Hornsby, and Kayla Howington for their loving care and support.
