Funeral services for Jewel Alexander, age 78 of Gallant who passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Gary Campbell officiating, music by Gary and Crystal Campbell. Burial will follow at Gallant Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Jewel was a member at Clear Creek United Methodist Church. She worked alongside her husband in their lawn shop, Alexander Small Engine.
She was preceded in death by her parents Miles and Annie Morris; first husband, Jim Robinson; sister, Jo Sherril and brothers: Bud Morris, David Morris, Leon Morris, Frank Morris and Miles Warren Morris.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Alexander; daughter, Pam (Ken) Pounds and sisters: Joyce Ivey, Peggy (Johnny) Pope and Annie Lou Teet.
Pallbearers will be Ken Pounds, Sean Pope, Danny Hyatt, Billy Livingston, Shane Dean and Jene Gilbert
