

Funeral service will be held at 12 P.M. Monday January 23, 2017 at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
Pastor David Denson will officiate.
Cremation services will be provided by Morgan Funeral Chapel following funeral service.
Jimmy Dean attended Church of the Highlands with his family. Jimmy worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad for 43 years. He was a die hard Alabama fan and loved anything Etowah. Jimmy loved fishing and the outdoors and more than anything he loved his family and providing for Darlene, Amanda and Zack.
He was preceded in death by his father; Jim Dean, father-in-law; Bobby Colegrove, brother-in-law; Leslie Colegrove, grandparents; Lena Ford, Luther, Della, and Greenberry Dean, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 32 years; Darlene Colegrove, daughter; Amanda (Zayne) Ledbetter, son; Zackary Dean and his fiancé Mackenzie Farley, mother; Margaret Dean, brother; Jerry (Cindy), mother-in-law; Janice Colegrove, sister-in-law; Paula (Kirk) Whorton, nephews; Kyle (Kay), Cameron (Ashleigh), nieces, Meredith and her fiancé Jeremy Hargrove, Holly Whorton, Allison Whorton, and many aunt, uncles , and cousins.
We would like to thank the Attalla Police Department and Attalla Fire Department.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Jim Battles Sunday School Class at North Glencoe Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6P.M. until 8 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
