

Funeral Service will be at 3pm Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jerry Epps officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2 until 3pm. Burial following at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Southside.
The first child born to Kenneth and Linda Dailey Payne on March 26, 1972. He was raised in Rainbow City and graduated from Southside High School in 1990. He was a Christian and saved in early childhood. As an adult he lived and worked in the Birmingham area. He was dedicated in his banking career for over 25 years at various financial institutions. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted son and brother.
Michael was preceded in death by his mom, Linda and infant brother, Christopher Mark Payne; grandparents, Bill and Grace Dailey and J.P. and Willie V. Payne.
Michael is survived by his pop, Kenneth and Kay Payne of Rainbow City; brother, Jeff and Gail Payne of Brookhaven, Georgia; sister, Amy Payne of Rainbow City; nephew, Jakob Whitley Payne of Rainbow City; aunts and uncles, Billie Fay Bridwell of Huntsville, Peg and Jimmy Murphy of New Market, Ken Dailey of Ragland, J.D. Dailey of Leeds, Charles and Faye Payne of Rainbow City and a host of cousins.
