

Lucinda (Cindy) Lowery Peppers age 76 of Gadsden, formerly of Boaz, Huntsville, Texas and South Carolina passed away unexpectedly at UAB Hospital on February 26, 2025. Cindy passed peacefully, surrounded by family, and escorted to heaven by her mother.
Cindy is survived by her son Jeff Peppers, daughter and son-in-law Joy and Michael Mosley, grandchildren Roman Blake (Kaleena) Peppers, Maddie Mosley and Nick Mosley, great grand-daughter Nova Szumlanski. Sisters Patty Lowery (Mike) Estes, Ginger Lowery and Susan Lowery McClendon. Cindy is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many special friends to include Annisa Darnell, who she loved like a daughter, and Jim Floyd.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Arthell and Jean (Cricket) Lowery, grandparents Joe and Carrie Lowery, Aaron Patton and Johnnie Patton and brother, Terry Lowery.
Cindy was born on September 28th, 1948. She attended Sardis Schools most of her life, graduating from the former Marshall County High School (Guntersville) in 1966. She so loved attending class reunions from both schools and reconnecting with many former classmates.
In her early years, Cindy was an excellent dry wall installer, as well as, a very successful Tupperware dealer where she won a "Woody" station wagon and was the youngest sales manager in the country. Cindy was also a very accomplished bowler, winning many tournaments. After raising her family, she went to nursing school, first earning her LPN degree followed by a degree as a RN. She was very proud of her nursing career at various hospitals and acute care facilities before retiring from Gadsden Regional Medical center in 2005. Cindy loved without boundaries; especially loving, and being loved, by her grandchildren and great granddaughter.
A Celebration of the life of Cindy Peppers, AKA Grandmother, will be held Saturday, August 2nd from 2-4 pm at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
