Ms. Allred was born on May 31, 1949, in Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Howard Allred; and mother, Frances Louise Allred.
She is survived by her son, Jackie (Helen) Allred; five grandchildren, Rion, Taylor, Ethan, Jackson, and Isaac; her six siblings, Camille (Danny) Browning, Karen (Marc) Carswell, Myra (JR) Vance, Jean (Charlie) Eubanks, Annette Pendygraft, and David (Paula) Allred; dearest friends, Kim Battles and Sheree Espera.
She has served others her entire life. Her greatest joy was her five beautiful grandchildren. She loved making art and crafts with them, designing and creating the best Halloween costumes. She loved to travel with her family. She also served in many callings in the church – Relief Society Presidency, Primary, Young Women Presidency, Sunday School Teacher, Newsletter Editor and years as an ordinance worker in the Birmingham, Alabama Temple. She also spent numerous hours creating burial robes for the local nonprofit organization, Angel Robes Alabama.
She lived a long and full life here on this earth. We can only imagine the joy of those who had gone before her as she passed through the veil to be greeted by her loved ones. Her legacy will live on through those that knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angel Robes Alabama.
