Peggy Imogene Sharpton

Funeral services for Peggy will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel, Attalla, AL on Thursday, January 8, 2025. Visitation will be held in the Chapel from 12:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm. Bro. Jimmie Harrison to officiate the service.

Peggy was a loving, Christian, and generous person. She loved to play games, dance, and fellowship with friends & family. Her favorite color was blue and her favorite flower was red roses. In her later years if you called her and ask her how she felt she would say I’m not jumping rope but doing okay. If this old knee wouldn’t hurt I would be fine. Peggy was a devoted wife and daughter. She also loved to talk about her dachshunds - Hilda, Heidi, and baby Jane. Peggy had some family but had lots of friends that were like sisters. She will be missed, never forgotten and always loved.

She was preceded in death by her mother Clara L Buntyn, husband Harold Sharpton, big mama Emily Terry, and aunt Mary E White.

Peggy is survived by a second cousin Chris Thacker, many nieces and nephews from her husband family, and special friends that were like family.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Steele Baptist Church at 3811 Pope Ave, Steele, AL 35987.
