

She is preceded in death by her parents Winston Napoleon and Vera Beatrice Polk, husband Irby Allen Whisenant, daughter Sandra Kay Whisenant, brothers Joseph Hugh Polk, Frank Eugene Polk, Charles Raymond Polk, George Polk, and Edward Polk, sisters Ann McGurik, Martha DeJean.
She leaves behind son Michael (Patty) Whisenant, grandsons David (Allie) Whisenant, Staff Sgt. Charles (Jade) McVey, great grandson Spencer Mason McVey, great granddaughter Emma Grace McVey to arrive in May; son Roger (Angela) Whisenant, grandson Ryan Whisenant; son Terry (Stacey) Whisenant, grandson Mason Schmidt, granddaughter Mylee Martin.
Becky retired from the Alabama Department of Revenue where she was a Revenue Examiner for over 30 years. She was a proud mother and grandmother who never missed an opportunity to watch her sons and grandsons play a sport or celebrate an accomplishment. She was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing dominoes, fishing, and spending time with her friends and family.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
Special thanks to her many golfing friends and dominoes ladies.
The graveside service will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at 12:30 p.m.
Visitation will be from 11a.m. until 12p.m. prior to the graveside service at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tee It Up for the Troops at www.teeitupforthetroops.org.
In these unprecedented times, the family understands hesitance to attend services. We ask that you play a round of golf or drop a line in the lake in her honor.
