Richard W. Perryman, age 86 passed away January 19, 2024. Richard was born in Gadsden, Alabama on September 7, 1937. He resided in the Ivalee Community for many years. Richard was a graduate of Etowah High School, Snead College and Jacksonville State University. He served in the Army for many years. Richard lived in Dalton, GA for many years while working for the Georgia Revenue Department. He retired from the Georgia Revenue Department in March 1996 after 30 and one half years.
He was preceded in death by his father, W.H. (Cuz) Perryman; mother, Beulah Wright Perryman; and brother, Thomas Edward Perryman.
In respect and to honor his wishes there will be no visitation, funeral service or memorial service. Richard was cremated and his ashes will be buried alongside his mother, daddy and brother at Friendship Cemetery in Boaz, Alabama.
